Chemistry runs on arithmetic — moles, concentrations, yields and gas laws are all calculations wearing lab coats. Our Chemistry Calculators collection covers the 12 computations students and professionals reach for most: from molarity and molality through pH and buffers, dilutions and titrations, the ideal gas law, half-life decay, percent yield, molar mass, empirical formulas and limiting reactants. Every calculator shows its step, so you learn the method — not just the answer.

Use the search box above to filter the 12 tools instantly, or browse the cards. Each page carries a full explainer — the formula, worked examples with real numbers, common mistakes, and FAQs — at the CalculatorSoup depth standard.

Frequently Asked Questions

What chemistry calculators are available here?

Twelve free tools: Molarity, Molality, pH, Dilution, Ideal Gas Law, Half-Life, Percent Yield, Molar Mass, Empirical Formula, Titration, Buffer Solution pH, and Limiting Reactant calculators.

What is the difference between molarity and molality?

Molarity (M) is moles of solute per liter of SOLUTION; molality (m) is moles of solute per kilogram of SOLVENT. Molarity changes with temperature (liquids expand); molality does not. Our Molarity Calculator and Molality Calculator show both steps.

How do I calculate pH?

pH = −log10[H+]. A hydrogen ion concentration of 0.001 mol/L gives pH 3. Our pH Calculator also returns pOH and [OH−].

What is the ideal gas law?

PV = nRT — pressure times volume equals moles times the gas constant times temperature. Our Ideal Gas Law Calculator solves for whichever variable you leave blank.

Are these chemistry calculators free?

Yes — all 12 are free, no sign-up, with steps shown and full explainers on every page.
